Good afternoon parents, here is a sample I created to give you all an idea of what tonight's homework should look like. Have your student choose his or her favorite animal and list a couple of facts about that animal, including the source. Have fun!!

Game Suggestion
Good afternoon parents and
guardians, as you all may have seen in your children’s homework, our lesson
this week has been on counting and to make sure all the children continue to
practice at home I want to tell you about a neat game I came across that will
help your child. The name of the game is Jumping Chicks and can be found at
this address: http://www.arcademicskillbuilders.com/games/jumping-chicks/jumping-chicks.html
In the game you are given a
number and you have to jump towards the leaves with that amount and you keep
going until you reach the end of the pond. It is an easy game that your
children will be addicted to playing, which is fine because they will also be
learning to count! I have had some children play it in the classroom and see it
has improved their counting and they can virtually do it without having to put
their finger towards the screen. I encourage you all to have your children play
this game and will keep you posted on any other games I find useful for the
children.
